So happy to report that our teacher's novel study guide for Secrets of the Hotel Maisonneuve is finished and is now available to any teacher who might wish to read the middle-grade mystery in class (and save time planning yet another lesson!) The guide was developed by a retired Grade 5 and 6 teacher in the province, and you'll find a handy link to download the files below. As many of you know, we created this guide because Secrets of the Hotel Maisonneuve was purchased by the Nova Scotia School Book Bureau, which means that it’s approved for middle-grade class study. Teachers can order copies from the bureau! I wrote Hotel Maisonneuve for grades 6 to 8, and you can find it in the English Language Arts catalogue, grades 7-9 (#2002506).
